About Us

About Us

We are a group seeking to accomplish God's will, and edify one another, by means of our Bible classes and worship services.  We strive to follow the Biblical pattern for the local church in our worship, evangelism, and benevolence.  We are independent and self-governing.  We have no organizational ties with any other church or institution.

We strive to do what has been divinely authorized in the New Testament and refrain from activities for which we find no Biblical authority.  We are determined to let the church be the church as God intended and to keep it free from unscriptural involvement in secular, political, social, and recreational activities.  Our aim is to honor and please God by doing His work in His way and encourage others to do likewise.

The Gospel is preached at our weekly services.  Additional Gospel meetings are scheduled during the year and home Bible studies are conducted by appointment.  In addition, we are currently able to help with the support of several gospel preachers in other places.

We help take care of the needs of our own members as the church in Jerusalem did (Acts 4:34-35).  In addition, we try to help needy saints in other places according to examples in the scripture (Acts 11:27-30, 2 Cor. 8-9, Rom. 15:25-31, and 1 Tim. 5:16).  All members are encouraged to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction (Jas. 1:27) and to do good toward all men as they have opportunity (Gal. 6:10).

Our Bible Classes

Bible classes for all ages are scheduled on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening.  Our Bible classes contain scriptural and informative lessons from the Bible.  The Bible shows the lost how to be saved and then how to live and serve God.  We believe studying God's Word, and applying it to our lives, is vitally important for all.

Our Worship Services

Our Worship services are designed to honor God and edify worshipers as taught in the New Testament.  Our assemblies include: Singing (Eph. 5:19-20), Praying ( Cor.14:15-16), and Teaching and Preaching (Acts 20:7; 5:42).  On Sundays, we also observe the Lord's Supper (Acts 20:7; 1 Cor. 11:23-26) and giving to the work of the church as God has prospered us (1 Cor. 16:1-3).
