Lindale Four:Twelve Youth Weekend

Our name is a reference to I Timothy 4:12:

“Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.”

We have put together a weekend for young people ages 12 to 20. We want to sing, study, and share together as we wrap up the summer and prepare for the coming school year. Everyone in that age range is welcome to come. In the registration process, attendees will have the opportunity to request a place to stay, and we will have all of that set up for you.

Friday Night, July 28:
We will invite the entire congregation and all visitors to come and sing praises together. Registrants can provide their favorite hymn, and we will work to include it in the evening of song. The speaker for the weekend will also give a short talk to introduce the content and direction of the weekend.

Saturday, July 29:
Saturday will be a full day of study and fellowship. We will study the Bible together, sing praises, and grow in our faith during multiple sessions for the day. At lunch time and in the evening we will all gather away from the building to eat and play games and build friendships.

Sunday, July 30:
We will meet for study and worship at our normal times. Our speakers for the weekend will teach during the class period and the sermons for the day—all of which will flow with the theme of the weekend.
